Gotta love 100+ degree heat for 6 months out of the year for something. No rust.

Thunderbird dashboard. It's got quite a few of the factory options here. PRC (ride control), "Premium Sound" which sucks. Automatic climate controls are nice when it work. I have a few repairs to do on that though.

Got a free nose from some guys tearing up a Turbocoupe for a Mekur car. Dismantled T-Birds and easy to come by really. The just are not as popular as the Mustangs and Merk's they get parted to.

Passenger side door was always is good condition. I didn't use that one much. I like to drive alone when I drive this car. Just a little dusty.

There was alot of stuff I had to fix. I just let things go over the 10 years I had been driving it before it say wrecked. The door glass had come off the drivers side track so I had to leave the door skin off to catch it when I rolled down the window. The glovebox lock broke while it was closed and locked for 10 years. It was like a little time capsule opening that back up years later..

I smashed in the front of my Thunderbird years ago. It sat like this until I finally got around to repairing it. That didn't happen until I moved from Arizona to NY. I could not sell the car when I sold the house. I'm glad I couldn't. It's a blast to drive and it's good on gas. I can fit the family in it too. Many thanks to Brian for helping me un-smash the front end. Couldn't have done it without you.

If the top of your gas tank looks like this in your 1988 Thunderbird then you must live in Arizona. I did..
